G’Que Mickens was born in Opelousis, La. He grew up in a singing family, starting with his grandmother, mother, father and uncles. G’Que starting singing at 8 years old. At age 15, G’Que wrote is first song entitled “Meant to Be In Love”. G’Que is a multi-talented that writes, sings, and produces his own songs. G’Que has several hit singles, “Party” and “The Weekend”, that are currently gracing the radio stations. G’Que is inspired by the late Sam Cooke and Johnnie Taylor.G’Que is known for being a humble and quiet artist. He sings all genres of music ranging from Gospel, R&B, Blues, and Southern Soul.
